We are pleased to have the Hyatt Hotels Foundation as a Champion Sponsor for our Annual Employment Champions Breakfast, supporting the critical work that we do to positively impact economic mobility in Chicago’s west and south sides.

Since the first Hyatt hotel opened its doors in 1957, they have strived to embody their purpose of caring for people so that they can be their best. Hyatt hotels create opportunities for colleagues at all levels to grow in their careers, invest in their communities, and prioritize diversity, equity, and inclusion.

The Hyatt Hotels Foundation helps bring to life this purpose of care by supporting the communities where Hyatt works, lives, and operates to accelerate positive change. This includes their Chicago community, where Hyatt is headquartered and has more than 20 hotels, through relationships with local non-governmental organizations and initiatives such as the Change Starts Here grant program.

Hyatt honors its commitment to our communities through their ESG platform, World of Care. They focus on three key areas, including Caring for People, Caring for the Planet, and Caring for Responsible Business. World of Care is their engine to open doors to new opportunities through programs such as RiseHY, Hyatt hotels’ commitment to hiring 10,000 Opportunity Youth by 2025, and Change Starts Here, their actionable DE&I initiatives to foster a more inclusive, equitable, and welcoming world.

Recognized as one of the Best Workplaces for Millennials by Fortune and one of America’s Best Employers for Diversity by Forbes, Hyatt has been working with Skills for Chicagoland’s Future since 2018, placing jobseekers in various roles across Chicago. Additionally, Hyatt President & CEO Mark Hoplamazian has served as a Skills Board Chair since 2018.

We are proud to work alongside Hyatt and the Hyatt Hotels Foundation to help bridge the access gap to employment. Their loyalty and dedication to getting Chicago back to work is beyond commendable. We look forward to having them at our Annual Employment Champions Breakfast which takes place on October 4th at the Hyatt Regency Chicago.
